Originally from Wisconsin, David made the journey west to Montana to follow his true passions: fly fishing and big game hunting. David is what we call “Pro Guide.” Jet boat, drift boat, raft, tailwaters, and freestones. David is one of the hardest working and most dedicated guides on the river!

Shafter Johnston – Captain | Guide
Capt. Shafter brings a wealth of technical knowledge and years of hands-on experience to every guided fishing trip. With a background in the Florida Keys, Everglades, Carolinas, Montana, and Louisiana, he has honed his skills in a variety of diverse fishing environments. His passion for the Missouri River and a deep love for bulging bull elk ultimately led him to make Montana his home, where he continues to share his expertise with anglers.

Parker is a veteran Missouri River guide, and he’s the boat no one wants to be behind. With a lifetime of experience, he has perfected his craft and honed his skills across diverse fisheries. From Alaska to Chile, California to Arizona, and Montana, Parker’s expertise spans the globe. Whether on a jet boat or drift boat, he’s dialed into the entire Missouri River system.
John Henneman – Guide
John, originally from Maryland, brings a unique blend of expertise to the Missouri River. After completing his master’s degree in urban design at the University of Miami, he made the bold decision to head west and apply his education in a new way-shoveling water on Montanas Missouri river. John now calls Craig Montana home and has earned the reputation of being an exceptional instructor and guide!

Trent is a renowned guide and specializes in Land of the Giants section, known for his larger-than-life personality and love for people and big attractor dry flies. Will Stolski – Captain | Guide
Will, a second-generation guide and captain, began his guiding career on the iconic Kenai Peninsula in Alaska. Over the years, he has guided anglers in some of the most renowned fishing destinations worldwide, including Alaska, Argentina, Idaho, and Montana. Today, Will calls the mighty Missouri River his home base.
