Jeff Lattig – Owner | Outfitter
Jeff Lattig founded Living Water on the saltwater flats of South Carolina, guiding redfish and tarpon before the Missouri River brought him to Montana.
A licensed U.S. Coast Guard Captain and Orvis-endorsed outfitter with over a decade of experience, Jeff is a patient teacher and skilled waterman — and one of the few outfitters on the Missouri with jet boat access to the Land of Giants.
Montana Outfitter #53820
David Morton – Captain | Guide
David traded Wisconsin for Montana and never looked back. As comfortable on the oars of a drift boat as he is running a jet boat through the Land of Giants, he’s a versatile guide who knows this river from top to bottom.
What you’ll notice about David is that he shows up prepared and stays invested all day. Every client, every trip.

John Henneman – Guide
John came to the Missouri River by way of Maryland and a master’s degree in urban design from the University of Miami — a background that has nothing and everything to do with reading water. He traded blueprints for oars, settled in Craig, and hasn’t looked back.
Will Curney – Guide
Will grew up on the Missouri River. His family operated a lodge on the water when he was a kid, and he’s been fishing it since the late 90s — which means he knows this river with the kind of familiarity that can’t be taught or rushed.
He moved to Helena full-time in 2020 to guide the river he grew up on. Patient, unhurried, and equally comfortable with first-timers and seasoned anglers.

Ryan Lattig – Captain | Guide
Ryan is a U.S. Coast Guard Master Captain and the kind of guide who takes the whole day seriously — not just the fishing. His shore lunches have become something of a legend among returning clients, and for good reason.
If you’re in Ryan’s boat, bring your appetite.
Lee Coyle – Captain | Guide
Lee has guided just about every corner of Montana, but the Missouri River is where he spends most of his time. Guiding the Land of Giants in his jet boat and below Holter Dam with spey rod teaching anglers the art of the swing. When you fish with Lee, expect calm, patient, and dialed in. Lee delivers days filled with learning, laughs, and big trout.

Rain Keating – Guide
Rain guided the Flathead and the Green River in Utah before the Missouri got its hooks in him. The big trout and the technical flat water suited him perfectly, and he hasn’t left.
Off the water you’ll find him somewhere out West chasing upland birds with his Brittany or on the ski hill.
Trent Brown – Captain | Guide
A day with Trent feels like fishing with a lifelong friend who happens to know the Land of Giants like the back of his hand. He runs that canyon water with confidence, throws the “90% er” fly with conviction, and has a personality that makes a full day go fast.
Good energy, big fish, good time. That’s Trent’s boat.

Jeff Parker – Captain | Guide
“Parker” is a veteran Missouri River guide whose boat you don’t want to be behind. With a lifetime of experience, he’s honed his skills across a wide range of fisheries—from Alaska to Chile, California to Arizona, and throughout Montana. Whether he’s running a jet boat or rowing his drift boat, Parker is dialed in to every nuance of the Missouri River system.
Shafter Johnston – Captain | Guide
Shafter came to Montana for the Missouri River and the bull elk, and stayed for both. Before Craig he fished the Florida Keys, the Everglades, the Carolinas, and Louisiana — saltwater country that gave him a technical foundation most freshwater guides don’t have.
That background shows on the water. Shafter is precise, observant, and quietly effective.
