Missouri River Lodges

Living Water Guide -lodging - riven rock

The Missouri River draws anglers from all over the world. When you make the trip, you want to do it right. At Living Water Guide Service, we guide full time on the Missouri and we’ve built our lodge packages around the properties that take care of everything between the fishing. We know this river, we know these lodges, and we know how to put a trip together that you’ll be talking about for years.

What Missouri River Lodges Offer

Missouri River lodges and Living Water are built around one thing: getting you on the water in the best possible condition every single day. Early breakfasts timed to your launch, shore lunches packed and ready for the river, and evenings spent recovering well. Everything is handled. You show up, fish hard, and repeat.

For serious anglers planning a multi-day trip, a dedicated fly fishing lodge is the most efficient way to maximize time on the water. You’re in Craig — right on the fishery.

When comparing Missouri River lodges, location matters most. The best properties sit on or immediately adjacent to the river. Ask us about what’s included in the package — lodging, all meals, bar, guided fishing, and equipment. We can also discuss full buyout options if you’re coming with a large group.

When to Book Missouri River Lodges

April – Early May — Shoulder season. BWO hatches, lighter crowds, good availability.

Mid-May – June — Peak season. The PMD hatch is the most anticipated dry fly event on the river. Book 6 months – one year out minimum.

July – August — Summer terrestrial fishing. Hoppers, ants, and beetles draw aggressive surface strikes.

September – October — Our favorite window. Fall streamer fishing, cooler temperatures, and strong dry fly action as BWOs return.

Our Partner Lodges

We guide on this river every day of the season. The lodges below are the ones we stand behind — and book our all inclusive guided packages through.
