Orvis Endorsed Fly Fishing Guide

We have been very busy the past few months wrapping up a busy Fishing Season. At Living Water Guide Service, we’re excited about everything happening in 2016! Back in February, I had the opportunity to attend the Orvis Guide Rendezvous, an event held in Asheville, North Carolina.

For those who may not know, Orvis has long been a leader in the fly fishing world. Orvis sets the standard for quality gear, conservation initiatives, and professional guiding services. A standout feature of the event was the Down the Hatch Film Festival, which showcased a collection of inspiring films highlighting exotic fishing destinations and compelling conservation stories.

The Orvis Guide Rendezvous is more than just an event—it’s a chance for industry professionals to connect, learn, and grow. From seminars to networking with like-minded anglers, it offers an opportunity to unwind, share experiences, and celebrate a shared passion for the sport. For me, the true highlight was reconnecting with old friends and forging new connections.

This year brings an exciting milestone in my journey with Orvis. I’m proud to transition from an Orvis Pro Guide to an Orvis Endorsed Fishing Guide. It’s an honor to join a company that values professionalism, conservation, and the art of fly fishing. As one of only three Orvis Endorsed Fishing Guides in South Carolina. I’m incredibly grateful for this partnership and look forward to providing clients with top-tier guided fishing experiences.
